THE ABANDONED VILLA IN BELGIUM

This huge villa was abandoned after a fire destroyed the top floor and roof.

The fire in the villa started due to a short circuit in an electrical installation of an illegal cannabis farm. Built in the early twentieth century, this mansion is one of the impressive buildings in one of the richest neighbourhoods in the region. The building was home to a family with young children.

In the summer of 2018 the villa was renovated by new owners. I took the photos in 2017.
